Egmore Museum’s Bronze Gallery

This is a permanent exhibition of Bronze sculptors from different eras starting from 5th century AD to 16th century AD. This exhibition consisted of more than 500 master pieces belonging to the Vaishnavite, Shaivaite, Jaina, Buddhist and Tribal bronzes. These pieces had to be kept in dust free and protected displays. My role in this project was to classify the different types of Bronzes and create order amongst the exhibits. Then design the display units and lighting for the same. Further I designed the panels and other promotional materials giving information regarding the types of schools and uniqueness of their styles for detail knowledge of the viewer.
